Formal Awards Ceremony

Please R.S.V.P. to Ms. Lucas

                                                                                    May 27, 2008

Dear Parents,

This is going to be a very special ceremony. Students have been nominated by me and their peers for awards (categories are attached).

Just reading some of the nominations have brought tears to my eyes! We will treat the ceremony like the Academy Awards, complete with a red carpet and envelopes -“The envelope please.” The students and I will change into our “formal attire” immediately before the ceremony. I will provide the refreshments. It’s my way for saying, “Thank-you for making this a great year.”

Please let me know (via Homework Pad or phone) if you will be able to attend so I can provide seating and refreshments for everyone.

                                        Sincerely,

                                        Ms. Anne Lucas
