- Catechist
- The catechist is a lay person specially appointed by the Church, in accordance with local needs, to make Christ known, loved and followed by those who do not yet know Him and by the faithful themselves. At Holy Name this includes educating children, young people, teens and adults in the faith, preparing candidates and their families for the sacraments of Christian initiation, and helping with retreats and other meetings connected with catechesis. Currently the "Echoes of Faith" video series is the training chosen by our diocese. At the High School level, Core Team members attend training sessions and retreats, along with conferences and workshops as available.

Salvation Army Soup Kitchen
- Holy Name is scheduled to provide meals at the Soup Kitchen the second Monday and the second Thursday of each month. Lunch is served at 12:30 pm and is usually finished by 1:30 pm including cleanup. Volunteers are needed to help us keep our commitment. Even if you can't actually serve the meal you can volunteer to give baked goods, donate ingredients, prepare something to be cooked there etc.
- Please contact Judy Berg, Holy Name coordinator, 247-4369.
